Shimmering and sparkling: a Glass Water Fountain

An indoor glass water fountain is useful in any type of area in your home or office. The natural sound of the floating water adds a relaxing atmosphere to a house. A indoor or tabletop fountain is a great way to provide this effect of running water. It also enhances the decoration in your home. This makes it an ideal gift for friends and family, but also for your employees and customers.

There are 3 types of indoor fountains:

Table (tabletop) fountains: these are small and designed to sit on a table in your home or office. Many of them resemble a miniture natural environment with rocks and water trickling down these rocks. The water is continualy recycled to produce a steady flow.

Wall fountains: wall fountains are often considered to be the most elegant indoor fountains available. Mostly these indoor wall fountains are mounted in the wall. They are rectangular in shape and water pours down from the top of the rectangle to the bottom of the rectangle. But they also exist as freestanding.

Larger fountains: these types are often found in office complexes to decorate an entryway. They are used to provide a smoothing effect to help employees and customers to relax.

Glass is a wonderful material for indoor fountains. It's transparent, reflective, and gives the water those extra sparkles when the light shines on it. When used as freestanding it gives you a see-through from both sides. Many glass wall fountains or waterfalls have a copper or chrome finish. They really look and sound fantastic in your home or office.

Glass is also used in tabletop fountains. For these most often colored and fused glass is used. With different chunks of glass you can change the water flow and present endless staging possibilities.
